Free 411 Calls 800.FREE-411

Just thought I'd share this that was passed along.

Jeff Levy on KNX last Sunday afternoon and he was speaking of the way cell phone companies are ripping people off bycharging $1.25 (at least that is the charge on Verizon) for calls to 411.

He said that you can get to 411 directly by dialing (800) FREE-411.

He suggested that everyone save this number in their cell phones underspeed dial (or whatever method you use). He tried it on the air and itworks. Of course you will be charged for minutes but not the additionalcost for dialing 411.

I just tried it and it works. Voice recognition is pretty good too.
